Like i said , Ivy Bridge E overclocking capability is worse than Devil Canyon
While i7 4790k can reach 5.5GHz , the i7 4820k can't even reach 5.0GHz (stuck at 4.84GHz) . Sure Devil Canyon will smoke it at the same price .
Haswell is 3->25% faster than Ivy Bridge E (depending on program) . There is no reason to get that Ivy Bridge E unless you like to throw money out of the window

People are keeping their SB/IB CPUs because in PC games there are no benefits in using haswell.
You sound like Haswell isn't faster than SB/IB . SB/IB is even slower than IB-E ...
