(UPDATE / FIXED) - After looking at the crash report I was getting a crash on USB device. I initially thought it was crashing due to not having USB legacy enabled in UEFI. Surprisingly enough, was not the case and still crashed. Issue was actually caused by Seagate external USB Drive that had 3 partitions... ejected drive and launched Dolphin and software not fully loads and does not restart system. If you need any more details or run tests let me know. Smile

Thanks for this AMAZING software.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to come on a post about my situation and see what the cause could be. I have a mac (hackintosh) that I have been using for over 4 years and playing dolphin on it since the very first OS X builds came to be.

Today I went to download and setup dolphin after doing a fresh clean install of the OS on the system. When I open the App it's bounces once in the dock and then my screens go completely black and kicks me out to BIOS screen. I have tried a couple other builds from weeks ago and the issue is still the same on any 4.0 build that I've tried.

My system has full qe/ci running and all App store , steam, and other emulators work perfectly (my system honestly NEVER crashes). Dolphin is the only thing to bring the system to it's knees lol Smile. I wanted to bring this to the attention of the dev team and see if it's a coding issue with my system or possibly just a one off problem with my system. I honestly can tell you my system has zero issues and would not be posting here if I felt it was due to my machine.

The only thing I can possibly think of is maybe the fact I have dual monitor setup?? Last loaded kext was USB however unable to tell if cause.
