Hi,

I am a long-time Dolphin user, and I have had a very interesting issue while running Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. I was playing the game fine for a long time (up to halfway through Part III), and the emulator has all of the sudden become unable to play the game. I was in the middle of a chapter, and I tried loading a state, and my screen went completely black. The Dolphin Emulator stopped responding completely, and I had to force shut down the game and interface. I reloaded Dolphin and tried playing the game again, and it showed a black screen again, and the emulator stopped responding. I then reset my computer and did Windows updates, but the same thing happened when I tried to load Radiant Dawn. I tried playing a different game (FE: PoR for the Gamecube) and it ran fine, but the entire Dolphin program becomes unresponsive whenever I try to load Radiant Dawn. I tried deleting the game and re-installing it, but I had the same problem. I would really like to play this game, and would appreciate any help and/or suggestions. Thank you!

SYSTEM SPECS --

(Dell Laptop)
Windows 8.1
Intel Core i7 Processor - 4510U 2.00 GHz
8GB Stock Intel Memory
Onboard Intel HD Graphics (runs my Wii games at 90-100% and 60FPS)

Again, thank you for any replies

EDIT: I forgot to put in the Dolphin version I am using - the most recent build of Dolphin 4.0. Sorry!

You probably have a bad savestate, unless you have a back up or an in game save you will have to start over.

I'm not even trying to load any states. It won't even load up the game. And yes, I have in-game saves, so is there any way I can get it to actually run the game?

I have not. I deleted my save states (they weren't up to date anyways), so do you know where the in game saves are stored? I would assume that they are in the SD.RAW file but I just want to make sure. I couldn't find anywhere that told me, and when I try to look at it from the Dolphin interface it gives me an error message.

I assume it is a wii game? If so I'm not sure, but I know it isn't the SD.raw

Problem fixed! I deleted my current Dolphin build and installed the latest, then moved my FF10EU.dat to the correct place in the new folder, and all is well! Thanks, ExtremeDude!

Regards,

Nathan

EDIT: For future reference, Wii save files are found at DolphinxXX/Wii/title/00010000/52464550 (it might change depending on the game, IDK because I don't have any other Wii games on here at the moment)
