I just downloaded development version 5.0-12460 to play Wii games, And when I try to open it it says file or directory corrupt and unreadable. I don't know what the specs are bc I'm using my parent's old laptop.

Did you unzip everything to a new folder? You can't run from the zip file or just extract Dolphin.
