FFCC crash in cutscene, skipping crashes too

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem on the Android Dolphin, and if so, how did you fix it? The game shuts down and returns me to the Dolphin loader, always at the same part of the cutscene and pushing "start" to skip the scene does the same thing. Samsung Galaxy s7.

Things I have tried:

Putting phone on "game" mode
Restarting phone
Changing Dolphin settings, can't remember which ones off the top of my head
Changing "start" to a different button on my moga pro
Pushing "start" outside a cutscene to see if it's that, and no, it's not

inb4 "Use the PC version", I can't atm. I'm stuck with a crappy laptop that won't run Dolphin properly (I tried) until I can afford a better one. But it's definitely on my to do list.
