Compile your own, your libraries are different from the ones they linked to 3404.

I get this same exact problem. When I open the configuration dialog, Dolphin outputs
Code:
(Dolphin:9277): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_widget_size_allocate(): attempt to allocate widget with width -5 and height 17
eleven times to stdout. I can hover over parts of the window and get tooltips, but that's it. The other tabs in the main configuration window are fine, but I get the same problem again in the Wiimote plugin's configuration dialog and the DSP plugins' (both HLE and LLE) windows as well.

For the record, I'm using Fedora 10 x86_64 on an Athlon x2 7750 with a RadeonHD 3200 (with catalyst 9.5), running my own build of Dolphin SVN revision 3862 (though this issue has existed in just about every previous revision I've tried).

If I had to guess, Dolphin is relying on some behavior of the older version of wxWidgets (or at least wxGTK) that the newer version deprecates.

(note: the emulation itself works wonderfully, and I'm currently re-visiting the dungeon at Dragon Roost Isle at playable speeds with no crashes Smile )

Sorry, but that's not an option for me (for reasons that are beyond the scope of this thread). Besides, I'm sure the proper solution, especially for an open-source project like Dolphin that intends to be cross-platform, is to fix what's broken in the program itself instead of forcing users to change their computer setup.

I would imagine that this problem happens in newer versions of wxWidgets on Windows too, and I'd also hazard a guess and say that installing an older version of it on Fedora could be a functional (if somewhat inconvenient) workaround for this problem.

Also, I'm not much of a "real gamer," more of an emulation enthusiast Wink
