Another minor feature request for input expressions: support for `if(condition, if_true, if_false)` operator. Comes in handy with more complex expressions!

The types of DDS that don't work on Android (e.g. BC1-BC7 aka DXT1 etc.) don't work because mobile GPUs can't cope with them rather than because Dolphin's not doing something it should.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: Intel i5 4670K RAM: 16GB (Down from 24 GB after some was given to siblings) GPU: Radeon Vega 56 (12-19-2020, 11:08 PM)AnyOldName3 Wrote: The types of DDS that don't work on Android (e.g. BC1-BC7 aka DXT1 etc.) don't work because mobile GPUs can't cope with them rather than because Dolphin's not doing something it should. Sad to hear that :-( Edit: a quick search revealed ASTC is a texture compression format made by Arm and supported by mobile GPUs like Mali and Adreno. It's adopted officially by the Khronos Group for both OpenGL and OpenGL ES, and seems to produce better quality/compression than the other standards. Arm's encoder/decoder is on GitHub: https://github.com/ARM-software/astc-encoder Also, a developer guide from Qualcomm recommends using ASTC texture compression over the other available formats supported by Adreno: https://developer.qualcomm.com/qfile/34706/80-nb295-7_a-adreno_vulkan_developer_guide.pdf So now I'm changing my request: please support ASTC texture compression! ![]()

It would be really nice to see if you guys could support xDelta patches. Having to duplicate whole games just to use patches that are maybe less than a megabyte in size is incredibly inefficient. I hope it's not a complicated thing to impliment.

A number of creators don't use xDelta patches because they only work if the user has the exact same file structure as the creator. I'd rather see the team implement a full-fledged mod system (to match Citra, Yuzu, Cemu, etc). Though I'm sure that'd be much more complicated. |
