I really want that add/edit Gecko code feature to be accessible in at least one version of Dolphin in the old UI before it goes the way of the dinosaur entirely because developers seem to hate the old UI for some reason, also because I don't feel like waiting for the qt-UI to become decently stable and to reach feature-parity with everything else that it lacks currently.
Nothing wrong with the qt-UI but there is a long wait before it becomes feature-complete and the (*COUGH* forced *COUGH*) standard.
The main defense for this feature on the old UI is because Action Replay codes have an incredibly harsh line limit by design and that Gecko codes are immensely more powerful with tons more features than one could shake a stick at.
