I'd surely be much better to have an ini file with two profiles just for the few games it matters, e.g. EFB->RAM for Super Mario Bros for the spinning coins and LLE for Zelda microcode games. Most things will just be slowed down with more accurate settings for basically no reason, and it's a hell of a lot of work to redo all the games.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X
RAM: 16GB
GPU: Radeon Vega 56

Now that makes sense. Updated the post with this suggestion and added some more info.

It's not. Read the previous post again. I've updated it with a better explanation of the suggested feature.

Still seems pointless. We already prefer accuracy over speed in game inis. There aren't too many games where trade offs for speed make sense.

This is pointless too. Global settings are already backend specific, and for game ini, why are you switching between backends for one game...?

I just found out that it's indeed possible to switch to a different backend via .ini file by adding the 'GFXBackend' line to the [core] config section.

This makes the previous feature request redundant / pointless (removed from the list).

So now it's possible to set D3D as the default backend and switch to OpenGL only for those rare cases where Direct3D provides subpar performance / lower accuracy tan D3D.

But there's a serious problem when using this method - a bug in Dolphin that prevents the shader cache from being saved on exit !

I request optional ISO 8601 for the forum. I want to be able to set Date Format to YYYY-MM-DD. Making this default wouldn't hurt either as it would stop the MM-DD or DD-MM confusion.

AMD Radeon RX480 8GB
16GB DDR3

This is a Feature Request thread for Dolphin; forum stuff goes over here -> https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Forum-site-feedback-and-questions

Anyway, go to your Profile -> Edit Options, then change it to whatever you want. It doesn't have a YYYY-MM-DD format, but some of the options should leave out the ambiguity, or at least change it to whichever version you feel is "correct" (DD-MM for example).

The thing is, MyBB is being illogical. It will let me specify a global time format in YYYY-MM-DD, but it won't let me add one to a list users can choose from. Forcing everyone to suddenly use something different, yeah, definitely not the best route. Making it a choice that users can decide for themselves is the better option, but unfortunately the software won't allow me to do that. Unless someone knows how to add Date Formats to the Profile -> Account Settings -> Date Formats in the MyBB admin control panel, it's not going to happen. Why MyBB won't let me define custom date formats that aren't global is beyond me though.
