KHg8m3r was probably referring to its Turbo Boost clock, not its stock clocks. We had one user who provided a very detailed of their purchase of the Gigabyte Brix Pro model in question; I need to look it up, but I think it was able to maintain that Turbo Boost for a bit in Dolphin testing. At any rate, a 2.7GHz Haswell with the latest Dolphin revisions should run most everything without issues except for notably demanding games.

EDIT - Ninja'd by the man himself...

I mentioned this in a previous issue report but a feature to do a disc integrity scan for your whole library that can output any bad rips would be a useful feature. Checking discs one by one can be quite tedious.

I think you meant to post that in this thread: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-dead-zone-ruins-mouse-as-analogue-stick

At this point I'm pretty sure what I was asking wasn't possible. So, yes, I did mean this thread. This feature doesn't appear to exist so I'm requesting that it's added.

Hey, how about something that keeps track of how long you play dolphin, like steam has? Smile
It's not really a must have feature, but I could see how comparing play times could be fun within the community.

Hello, I was just wondering about the feasibility of recording dolphin with amd vce versus a cpu encoding.

It's already possible if you use an external recording application that supports external codecs such as dxtory and MSI Afterburner and add the encoder to it.
It's helpful when the game is CPU heavy as it will ease the load on your CPU a bit.

If you meant having built-in support for Dolphin well... if someone does it I guess?

My current requests:

- A downscaling filter that works correctly (is it nearest neighbor right now?). Playing with IR higher than my monitor's native resolution (1080p) looks miles better when I'm downsampling at 4k than when not downsampling. Is should look basically the same in both cases.

- Optional black frame insertion in the video settings. It would reduce input lag considerably while playing at 120Hz (compared to 60Hz) and it would also eliminate motion blur in 60fps games. But let's make a harder proposition: the possibility of black frame insertion for 30fps games. In a 30fps game at 60Hz, it should be (image1, black, image2, black) instead of (image1, image1, image2, image2) and at 120Hz it should be (image1, black, black, black, image2, black, black, black). My monitor is capable of strobing at 60Hz, so my first black frame insertion petition isn't as critical for me, but most monitors only strobe at 85/100/120 Hz (Lightboost and ULMB). BFI for 30fps games would flicker a lot, but it's the only way to not have motion blur and double image for 30fps games, and I would use it.
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670k @ 4.4GHz
GPU: GAINWARD GeForce GTX 1080 Phoenix "GLH"
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X DDR3 16GB 1600MHz CL7
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64

The downsampling is a bug in the OGL backend right now, should be fixed with https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/1418
But I'd also like to see a nice downsampling filter. Do you want to create such a shader within our postprocessing framework?
