I'm deleting isos all the time, after compressing them and testing if they work. So I like that option. Your kid could also open a folder and start deleting stuff (I'm just turning your argument against you, see ?)

Also, your patch isn't for the x64 version is it ? Also, I want to keep updated with the latest revision and I don't code in C, so I don't have a compiling environment to apply your patch each time.

-aspect ratio
-screen resolution
-safe texture cache mode
-which plugin(s) to use for graphics/input/audio

I'm sure there are additional settings that would be useful to have change on a per-game basis, but the ones listed just struck me as being most-beneficial.
It can be done , but the iso proreties list would be huge
yes, but you see that's why God invented the scrollbar! Big Grin
Just two tinny problems :
1_People would not know what , for example, "HLE the IPL" means
2_I think that Chuck Norris or this guys invented the scrollbar Tongue
not many people know what the "HLE the IPL" option means anyways, seeing as how there's no tooltip to explain what it does. So I doubt that anyone would miss out on an explaination that isn't there.Wink

That reminds me of another suggestion; more tooltips for settings! I'd like to know what "HLE the IPL" actually means.

Emulates the GC BIOS ( if you have a copy of the ipl.bin , only pal works now and can only be dumped from a homebrew enabled GC ( could this be done modifying the MIOS ? ))

Yeah, I've noted it. I was really upset at the moment but I have all my isos back in Dolphin and I'm happy again.

Still, as it was mentioned a few posts before, you could (with 2 or 3 clicks) go to your isos folder and delete them yourself. Why do you need Dolphin to deal with an inherent system level function. Besides that, as it's stated in the Delete ISO dialog, your image will be gone for ever, so you don't even have the option to undelete it from the Recycle Bin.

Not that I consider this a feature, but a safety measure.

Can you write up a readme with option descriptions ? Or put tooltips, even better.

For example, "DSPLLE on thread", does it make a difference when using the DSP HLE plugin ? Confusing.
Progressive scan and pal60 > ???

DSP LLE on thread should make the DSP plugin use another thread in your CPU
( LLE or HLE ? idk )

And the last two are things that have to do with the tv ( if I explain what progressive scan is I would have to start in how the tv works and bla bla bla )

ssbbtriforce started to make a help file with other members , but the proyect is in stand by

I know it's about the TV, but which settings are best when running the emulator on a normal LCD PC monitor ?

well, they are actually used to say the game specific tv features ( the video plugin renders automatically everything to progresive scan )
