Right now is very confusing to move specific saves from one snv to another, you know, 524d4745 (super mario galaxy), 52385050 (super paper mario), you see the point. About that feature, it never worked for me. I mean, I do right-click and click Open Wii save folder, but the window never opened. Could be a bug or just my Windows. EDIT: Yeah, just my Windows, I've tried it on other machine and it works. Rig *Corei5 3570K *Nvidia 9800GT 1GB DDR3 *Motherboard Asus P8H77M-PRO *Win7 x64 *RAM 8GB DDR3(1600) 08-31-2009, 10:27 PM

I really would like to have game-specific settings more detailed then right click Properties. Some games run really well so I can run them fullscreen+AA+1680x1050+no frame skipping but for some games I have to use windowed+no aa+lower res+frame skipping..

I'd like to see an advanced GBA link function that actually works good. I know it works with some games but it doesn't with for example The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords. I know this is not high on Dolphin's list but hey, I just want to suggest it.

My request is to have the ability to select directories for where memory cards and savestates are stored. This will allow me to make build updates without losing game saves (without having to manually back them up first).
Thanks! 09-07-2009, 04:28 PM
As far as I know you can select where the memory cards are loaded and saved at in the options. I've been doing that for a long time now.
Core2Quad Q6700@2600MHz / Asus P5QL-VM DO / 4GB DDR2 PC2-6400 RAM / Geforce 8800GTS (G92-512MB) / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win7 Pro 64bit / Ps2 controllers for GC and 2 Real Nintendo WiiMotes for the Wii

While I see what you're talking about (and now I feel a bit silly for posting what I had posted previously), it's a tad unclear that this is possible. The UI doesn't explain that a new file will be created using the name you specify. I was thinking that you had to select a previously existing file given that's what the UI asks for. So maybe a very brief explanation of what clicking on "..." does is in order. |
