My request: A way to play local multiplayer games via netplay (Unless this is already a thing).

This is exactly what Dolphin's existing netplay feature lets you do.

So for example Epic Mickey 2, I could have someone play as Oswald over the internet instead of using the same computer?

Well, kinda. That's exactly what Dolphin's Netplay feature allows, but sadly it still is very tricky to properly sync when running Wii games that don't support GameCube controllers due a lot of Wiimote shenanigans...

Any chance of an option to force an full screen resolution and/or refresh rate arbitrary from the desktop resolution? I'm not talking about internal resolution.

Basically, I have a monitor which I use at 82Hz (overclocked from 75Hz). This works great in PC games, but emulators like Dolphin work best at 60Hz otherwise juddering is introduced. My workaround is to create a custom resolution very close to my native resolution at 60Hz (in my case, 1920x1079 at 60Hz). Using this resolution means I don't have to change the desktop refresh rate every time I want to use an application at 60Hz. But Dolphin has no way to actually select resolution arbitrary from the desktop resolution.

That, or a way to force 60Hz refresh. Either would solve the problem.

My request is to make "Classic Controller" estention (the estention from the Emulated Wii Remotes) one of the main GC controllers available; maybe I'm saying something impossible, but that's my biggest wish, that would fix a lot of things with Budokai Tenkaichi 3 mapping config

Hybrid Wii Remote 2.0 will allow you to configure a Classic Controller for GC controls.

There used to be a GUI option to do just that, but lots of users were using it instead of internal resolution and no one could think of a situation where it was actually beneficial. There was someone who was insisting on doing something in a dumb way instead of properly who strongly objected to it being removed, though, so it was left as an ini option.

The INI option in dolphin INI is

[Display]
FullscreenDisplayRes=(whateverresyouwant)

Alternatively, you could use a program that allows you to change refresh rate from a bat file.

Alternatively, you could use PR 7803.

Thanks for this! I can see why use cases would be limited - I'm only using it myself as a hacky solution to force another refresh rate. Good thing the ini option still exists, though.

I'm surprised more people in the emulation scene don't talk about this because the likes of RPCS3, PCSX2, cemu, PSPPSS etc. all have the same issue. Given the increasing prevailance of high refresh 144Hz monitors, you'd think more people would be running into the issue 60fps games juddering. I suppose people just switch to 60Hz every time they use an emulator, though that's obviously not ideal. Retroarch is the only one I can think of that lets users select refresh rate. Variable refresh rate presumably solves the issue, but not everybody can use that.

That PR looks like the solution though! Hope we'll see it in dev builds.
