Most of Ishiiruka's changes are in the D3D backends and therefore not relevant or useful to Android.

The new motion plus is great... but a few things don't work great.
Mouse emulation is a bit off. Straight vertical yields a little diagonal most of the time. A couple "gyro ranges" with assigned modifiers would also be very helpful to distinguish between slow movement like aiming versus fast movement like sword swinging. Thanks! 05-02-2019, 04:41 AM

I'm running an Nvidia Shield with Xbox 360 Controllers. The lack of analog stick dead zone adjustment in the GUI is a huge issue. I would be able to play some games without issue if this was available.
I did some searching and found a year old thread with an incredibly cumbersome workaround involving the creation of per game controller configuration files for custom controllers. This setting is already available on the Windows version of Dolphin; are there any plans to bring it to Android? 05-07-2019, 07:26 PM

This is exactly the reason i stopped playing on my nvidia shield, used to do the method your talking about with the padprofiles. 05-07-2019, 10:58 PM
It'd be pretty easy if someone knowledgeable wanted to add it to Android, but, sometimes finding people with time to do it can be difficult.

I have dolphin running well on the Oculus quest in the tv app. I cannot get access to the menu whole in game to remove the overlay.
I know it isn't made for the quest, yet. But if we could map a button to the in game menu, that would make things easy. If there is an alternate way of modifying the ini files to get the overlay off, that's fine too. Maybe having the overlay disabled by default and go within the settings to enable it would be better for all users. I find threads that are a year old for Chromebooks. Same issue. 06-06-2019, 05:45 AM
If this thread isn't dead, I'd like to request an axis input interpolation feature. Basically just smooth an axis value with a configurable amount of frames or something like that. This would allow digital inputs to appear "smooth".
The reason I mainly want this feature is so that one can bind a digital button to GameCube trigger and have the axis move along the analog press, then hit the digital press over the course of a couple of frames. This gets around a Metroid Prime programming oversight where pressing the analog and digital on the same frame ignores the analog part of the press, preventing strafing from working. And surely someone can find SOME other use for this feature. Seems relatively useful in general. |
