add an yes/no dialog to the main menu if they want to tweak settings of the game automatically instead of manually setting it up before playing it

I would recommend against it. Without those "recommendations" your gaming experience is simply not enjoyable. Those change exists for a purpose, to improve your experience. Some games simply don't work well with specific settings. If you really find them annoying, you should remove these automatic setting changes in the game's .ini file. But I don't recommend you doing that either, unless you are absolutely sure the game runs fine without a specific setting change.

I'd kill for a way to easily disc-swap from a controller shortcut.
I stream my from my PC upstairs using Steam as a front end, and I really hate that I have to get up from my TV, run upstairs, change discs on my computer, then run back downstairs to continue playing. Its quite obnoxious. 01-29-2018, 09:52 PM

Use Joy2key to set up your controller to control the prompts of Windows (arrow keys and enter I guess) don't forget to change your controller settings to use those same buttons in Dolphin otherwise you might start opening or (even worse) accidently starting or deleting stuff.
Check my profile for up to date specs.

This sounds considerably more aggravating than if it were simply a feature of Dolphin as it is in many other emulators like Mednafen for PSX or the PSX emu for PPSSPP. 01-30-2018, 10:12 AM
When the Qt UI is finished it'll be reasonably simple to add gamepad support to the UI, but while the WxWidgets one is the main one, it will be an absolutely massive job (and probably take more time and work than finishing the Qt UI). That means that the only short-term solution would be to add a disk swap hotkey but that can't be done as Dolphin won't know which disk you want to swap to.

Other emulators handle this by allowing the user to make a .m3u playlist file with a link to to both discs. |
