Why? What advantages does it give? DX12 is aimed at solving specific problems due to the 'previous' APIs not quite matching what the GPU hardware does anymore - unless you hit one of those problems you're unlikely to see any difference. And Vulkan solves many of the same issues, being designed to solve very similar problems.

D3D12 isn't objectively "better" than OpenGL anyway; it all depends on implementation. A very good implementation of OGL can be just as fast, if not faster, than D3D12. The reason it gained popularity was because for some small percentage of users that both needed to use drivers with subpar OGL drivers (i.e. AMD/Intel) and had graphics cards that were just barely not good enough, D3D12 was able to give them the tiny push they needed to have games be "playable." This is also the case with Vulkan; depending on the circumstances it can be far better.

Using the SD card or a USB slot in your computer of your choice as a sd.raw substitute, because it's annoying using WinImage every single time when I edit my SD card. And WinImage yelling at me that it wants me to pay every time.
Also a feature where if you're on Netplay, instead of desyncing because everyone doesn't have the same EXACT save, it'll instead temporarily let players read and write to the host's file. Boom, easy (I hope?) way to let saves work online. Either way, this would be a pretty big thing for Netplay to have.
Also...

I second this. And making lag not destroy sound. Make them like every other laggy game on the planet, to where only the framerate slows down, and not the sound. Maybe an option for this since this means sounds would have to play in a different way, which COULD cause problems in some games and thus some would want it off. Either way this would also be big and some devs should really do it some time... I hate it when I lag on Netplay, and then it makes the entire game sound like ass.

Yeah, this would be a pretty good feature.

Dolphin had this in the past, and it led to tons of horrible random bugs like music stopping, softlocks and crashes. We're not going to re-add it. These kinds of things don't work in the same way it does for "every other laggy game", because Dolphin isn't a game, it's an emulator.

Though if you want to, you can get rid of the audio stuttering (but not the reduced audio speed) by enabling the audio stretching option.

Good point. That's why it'd be an option. I'd recommend it'd be in its own box in the audio settings, with a warning in that case. You should probably say 'No support will be provided with issues caused by this' under the option.
Oh, I'll take a look at the audio stretching option now, too. Thanks.

Implementing that would be a lot more difficult than it's worth. Making the audio speed independent of the emulation speed fundamentally changes how the emulation of the entire DSP works.

I'm against "options" that rarely provide a benefit.

Okay.
Also, I tried audio stretching, and that only made it kind of not stutter. There was still stuttering, it was just... how do I explain this... softer?

About D3D12, i must say that, when I was running the stable version, D3D12 gave me better results than D3D11 or OpenGL in some situations, where the game lagged with D3D11 or OpenGL.

But now with development versions, Vulkan is faaaaaaar better than D3D or OpenGL. So I prefer that development continues with Vulkan preferably to other rendering engines (even if it's sometimes unstable)...

While I realize many are making technical feature requests, my request is more UI-based. I imagine someone may have made it already, but I'm not going through 140 pages just to find out, so here goes.

RPCS3's way of having specific configurations for each individual game with Dolphin. For example, say I want to run F-Zero GX at DX11 (does this game even work with OGL? It always seems to reset itself), at 5K Upscaling with 4X AA, all I have to do is set it up for F-Zero, and every time I click on F-Zero, it loads up the settings accordingly. Then, when I go to load up Metroid Prime 2, I'll have it at 3K Upscaling with no AA (damn portals!).

This would be much more convenient and optimal as opposed to picking a game and having to configure the settings all the time.

That being said, I am looking forward to Dolphin...6.0 with Vulkan? Whatever your plans are, I know it worked better in Doom 4 when I used it as opposed to OGL.

Also, what is PCSX2's damage? They haven't released a stable PCSX2 1.5.0 build yet, and they have yet to make any of the progress ya'all are makin' here!
