That is how it normally works, he wants a button that will only do a half press and not a full press (setting something to L/R Button would be a full press). You can probably set a button to just L/R analog and change the threshold to 50, but then that would mess up your normal triggers I would think. I agree the modifier threshold part might be a bit confusing for newcomers. I mean there are three separate modifer thresholds placed below in the configuration screen for the GameCube Controller (and many more for other control schemes). But yeah that was basically what I edited my post into. I didn't expect a reply so fast. I usually write down my post and immediately after edit it into a perfectioning nightmare. Sadly, since the Z button is a digital button, there is nothing that can be done by making it press halfway or full. There are only two states: pressed and not-pressed. The only thing that could be done is mapping one analog button with a threshold to 50. So pressing the analog trigger halfway will activate the Z button. But that would in my opinion be awfully unnecessary. I would suggest mapping the Z button to the L and R buttons (not the analog triggers) on a XInput controller. There should not be any need for pressing it halfway. Besides it is more useful to set map your analog triggers to the L and R triggers of the GameCube controller. 12-01-2016, 11:44 PM

But i think it will be cool at least a option to load only some textures just like project 64. ( I am trying to play zelda twilight princess with 4k textures realistic overhaul)

Make the controller configuration screens actually look like the controller you're configuring, and you just click each button on the graphic to remap it. Could also add animations for each button, so that when you press it it is reflected by the graphic's button actually being pressed. Or for the Wii Remote, it swings or shakes when you press the button. Would look really nice, and make Dolphin seem more user-friendly.

Allow replacing opcodes with any valid PowerPC Gekko opcode instead of just blr and nop.

Since the newer dev builds are trying to improve the controller configuration, could visuals for the controllers be implemented? I imagine it'd be easier to do since the new Wii remote configuration is separated into tabs now.
