I know I mentioned that I think I know the guy on the left in the video last time it came up, but I think I just remembered who he is and why I recognised him, which is satisfying.

I think this is a simple request but I know better than to assume.

Would it be reasonable to make borderless fullscreen a per-game ini setting?

This way, for games that require vsync to be disabled to work properly like F-Zero GX, we can enable borderless fullscreen to avoid screen tearing. Currently vsync is a per-game setting but borderless fullscreen isn't.

It's a stale project at the moment.

Somebody who no longer works on Dolphin wrote it awhile back, and now rebasing it onto current code is proving to be a real pain in the butt because it touches so much of Dolphin's codebase.

Eventually, the person working on rebasing it shelved it for awhile. Somebody will need to pick it back up and finish it.

Thanks for the info. In that case I would still love to have borderless fullscreen as a per game setting since the new config system won't happen for a while. I hope it's easy enough that somebody agrees to implement it.

Hi guys,
how realistic is the chance to be able to upload custom models?
Or just to modify the ones that are in the game, change the size or shape of models, boost polygon counts etc?

Would be pretty awesome.

It's something we all want, devs especially. The problem is, like any open source project, motivation and time to work on it. And rebasing this massive project is annoying as heck so nobody has motivation.

@djneo, you'll have to modify the game itself.

I understand.  It sounds like taking on the whole config system revamp is a bear.  What I was proposing instead was to simply add borderless fullscreen as a per-game setting within the current infrastructure.  However, perhaps that is not as simple as I think.

One feature i'd love and that I feel is pivotal is the ability to make graphic option presets. Certain games need a lot of different settings to function properly and the ability to quickly switch between them would be immensely helpful instead of needing to dive into all the options and switch them when I play a different game.
