I wasn't really thinking too hard about that when I was making it. Although the feature itself isn't ready for real use yet, so keeping the label it has now is probably for the best, so people steer clear of it.

What is missing in Dolphin is :
- A kaillera support, for LAN/net multiplaying games - An automatic frame skipping option (for exemple if the game in full speed is 30fps, when it become slow, like 20 or 25 fps, dolphin will skip 5 frames and the game still have the same speed !!! - A perfect emulation of SSMB

Its been asked before a thousand times I know but I think can at least be slightly more original and imagine a process.
A model viewer. This is not to be confused with export functions as well, exporting would be a different feature to viewing models. Currently there are solutions for extracting 3d data from both OGL and DX geometry. I've done this myself to games playable on dolphin and I get moderately decent results. Granted they have their limitations but the goal of an exporter is simply to acquire the data in a usable form which its perfectly fine for my purposes. The problem with relying on those methods alone is the emulator is emulating the game while I'm extracting the data, manipulated models are less usable than un-manipulated ones. Instead I would like to recommend concentrating on a platform for viewing, this comes as a two part process
Granted what I'm recommending is going to be a serious performance hit, by the nature of this project its unstable to begin with on some titles and running with this idea may make it more unstable when using this feature however please consider that for this feature the goal isn't necessarily to play a game but only to catch its assets and display them. Unless a title uses streaming asset collection could be activated with a hot key or toggled or just a plug in that can be quickly disabled in the options. Similarly extraction can be done in the same way, after the cache file is loaded (or during a game for that matter) a file can be produced from the data in memory into an editable format; Although it might be far more stable if done outside of an emulated game engine environment.

Hi,
I've been following this project for some time and I would really appreciate the possibility to connect more than one wiimote on the emulator. I know some already asked this... just putting a bit more interest here. If you could have the possibility to implement it, it would add much more fun to the already working games. Thank you very much, and congratulations for this excellent job! Santasemilla. 05-15-2009, 09:07 AM
I would very much like to see frameskipping implemented. I have no idea how the emulator works, but i don't think it would be that hard to implement. Super Smash Brothers Brawl is great because it has somewhat of an implemented frameskipper of its own, so even if my computer can't handle 4 iceclimbers on screen the gameplay isn't affected at all, which is great.
In super smash brothers melee, while the game runs at high FPS most of the time, there are some maps where the speed drops to like 30 fps... and the game plays at slowmotion I mean, i can deal with some graphical glitches or so, but slowmotion completely kills the gameplay. Frameskipping would solve this problem like a charm. So really, if it is possible, please implement frameskipping. It would be very much apreciated. ![]()

This thread should be changed into a poll already...Oh, I'm putting my vote in for a model & texture exporter, and one that exports universal formats like .3ds or .obj and not .3dxml or .3dr. Formats like those just complicate things. Secondly, to everybody asking for a music player, just use Dolphin's built in game viewer and extractor to find and extract the sound files, then find in_cube for Winamp. This can be found on Winamp's site or at it's home at Halley's Comet Software (type them into google). HCS used to have a download page for such music, but now I'm not so sure.
