To my surprise, the emulator can be compiled successfully with disabled JIT on Linux ppc64le platform.

The performance is dreadful (~2pfs) however the graphic (Vulkan - AMD Radeon VEGA 64 - amdgpu driver) is pretty spot on.

It would be great if Dolphin could offer support for ppc64le.

P/S: Tested on RaptorCS Blackbird /w POWER9 8-cores, AMD Radeon VEGA 64, Fedora 32 (ppc64le)

I don't think anyone in the development team is interested in adding a PPC JIT, unfortunately.

Yes, Dolphin is intended to work correctly (albeit slowly) on any CPU that's little endian and at least 32-bit.

Fair enough. Feel free to reach out to me if you are to.

It would be interesting to see how much gain in emulation performance and correctness because the GC's architecture is also a PPC.

From what have understood in other emulators. It likely wouldn't matter that much there still difference with the graphic and other underlying hardware. It similar to how there no real decent emulator for the original xbox and no emulator for the current ps4/ xbox one .those console all use x86 processor but none of them have emulator that can run them well or at all. That not factoring if there was instructions on the gamecube or wii processor that isn't standard from the Pcc design which will require more cpu time.
