What is your favorite Star Wars movie? You can pick more than one because some people like some of them equally.

Edit: I chose both Revenge of the Sith and Return of the Jedi, because I love them both equally. I feel that Return of the Jedi is better after seeing Revenge of the Sith since you are closer connected to Anakin's life. I always get a lump in my throat when I see the end of Return of the Jedi, when Darth Vader kills (or did he?) Darth Sideous and when Luke watches Vaders armor burn. Revenge of the Sith is still engaging after watching it 100 times. Anakin's fall is just dramatic, and gets you critically thinking about every little thing Palpatine does to turn him to the dark side.

Also, the musical score in the Star Wars movies has to be the best ever. It is just breathtaking. I really hope John Williams does the Disney movies.

Even The Phantom Menace? I mean it had it had some great scenes, but Jar Jar was a bit over-used. Tongue

Yeah, Jar Jar was a bit annoying Tongue But generally The Phantom Menace is a good episode, a nice beginning of the Star Wars saga.

Anyone who votes for one of the prequels is out of their minds. Especially episode 1.

The only redeeming quality of that movie was Ian McDiarmid's (palpatine) amazing acting. The rest of it was a mangled mess of plotholes, retcons, and ignoring well established lore covered up by big action sequences and pretty cgi. The dialogue of anakin and padma was cringe worthy in most of their scenes. The character development in general was quite poor. What annoys me the most though was how much of an opportunity they had to do something really amazing with that setting. They could have easily portrayed the fall of the republic into an empire in a convincing way by just retelling history (roman republic, weimar republic). The original trilogies had such good stories primarily because they were based on already well refined mythology. Ultimately I couldn't bring myself to care about the plot or any of the characters in the prequels. It had a lot of cool action scenes and such but there was no depth to anything. Which gives it very little replay value. I've watched the prequels maybe 2 or 3 times ever. Whereas I've watched the original trilogy more times than I count.

Because you're on a smartphone. Link the youtube video properly next time.

Dunno if some people are trolling, but choosing (nearly) all of the available poll options seems to defeat the meaning of "favorite".

At any rate, I've only seen Episodes 1-4 in their entirety, bits and pieces of 5 and 6. Unfortunately, I'm not big enough of a Star Wars fan to consider myself having a favorite movie. Now the literature inspired by SW universe is a different story.

I agree. If you're picking your "favorite" then you should only be able to pick one option.
