Thanks for the advice, Im using x4897 x64 so far and 1024*768, the game looks and plays almost like my WII Big Grin. I was thinking about upgrading my version but honestly, Dx9 is becoming hyperslow since 20 revisions ago (more or less). GC games are f**ng slow, but WII games are getting better O_o (talking about speed)

The English patched game works perfectly and fully playable even with just a PC keyboard after some rearrangement of the keys.

I play it on C2D 2.8Ghz, Win XP 32, x4897.

One suggestion: Set EFB Copy to "Copy EFB to GL texture (hack)". It TREMENDOUSLY speeds up the game in some places, f.e. the first fight with a ghost was barely playable with default setting of EFB Copy on my machine, but became 95-100% after I set it to "Copy EFB to GL texture (hack)".

yeah, I dunno why they have EFB to RAM as default...of course it's more accurate, but for most games it's so slow that it's unplayable...I have it on EFB to texture almost for every game.

My choice is always DX9 with "EFB Scaled Copy" option ON.
So i can have all games upscaled in 1080p.
If i use OpenGL Fatal Frame 4 starts in hires but after few cutscenes goes back in almost original resolution (at least for 3D), so i don't use it.
With "EFB Scaled Copy" ON i can have Castlevania, Madworld, Sin & Punishment 2, Onechanbara, Darkside Chronichles in real 1920x1080.
With OpenGL you'll get all these games 3D downscaled.
Anyway i agree OpenGL performance is slight better.

yay, I got past that first photo scene. I dunno if it has anything to do with using JIT instead of IL but, anyway, it works, so I'm happy Smile

Well, game is almost perfectly emulated with rev 4890 32bit in D3D plugin with EFB copy to texture! I said almost Sad. Pictures that you take cant be viewed (it just show black screen in album). If you set EFB copy to RAM than pictures are clearly viewable( if you took them while EFB to RAM is on), but graphic is native then and much less enjoyable. I dont know how important is to save pics after all, I am new in FF series Shy

Great, I now can enjoy it fully. Sound is also perfect, in earlier revs it was buggy

File an issue report on the dolphin svn about it.
