Yes I play it with a ps2 controller(already beat it twice) the only part when you need the mouse is when you play the piano.

this is my config

Buttons/- = Button 9

Buttons/Home = Button 10
Tilt/Forward = Axis 2+
Tilt/Backward = Axis 2-
Tilt/Left = Axis 3-
Tilt/Right = Axis 3+
Shake/X = Button 4
Shake/Y = Button 5
Shake/Z = Click 2
Extension = Nunchuk
Nunchuk/Buttons/C = Button 6
Nunchuk/Buttons/Z = Button 1
Nunchuk/Stick/Up = Axis 1-
Nunchuk/Stick/Down = Axis 1+
Nunchuk/Stick/Left = Axis 0-
Nunchuk/Stick/Right = Axis 0+
Nunchuk/Shake/X = Button 5
D-Pad/Up = UP
D-Pad/Down = DOWN
D-Pad/Left = LEFT
D-Pad/Right = RIGHT


is config something like this:
Run with the O, the X works as the A button, The [] <--square works as B button.

The digital pad is for changing the lenses and films types

The left analog is for move and the right for move the flashlight or when you are in first person to move the camera, you will notice that it will go to the center of the screen all the time, this is a "bug" of the joysticks but use the O when you are fighting ghost and you will autolock them all the time so is fair easy to play the game

The L1 is for use the special lenses and R1 to shot the camera
R2 to shake when some ghost grabs you
start to enter the menu and select to see the map
and thats it

It's a bad patched iso. Get the patch and do it by yourself. It's quite easy. Have a look to this http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=6639&highlight=fatal+frame (read page 2)

Does anyone encountered this error at Chapter 4? This is the part where you kill the ghost after turning on the power for the elevator. I always get this message after killing him.

Chapter 4: After you put the code in the fuse box in the basement do not follow the ghost because after the battle the game will crash with this error: "BackPatch - no support for operand size 1" "Error encountered accessing emulated address 21251086...Culprit instruction: movzx eax, byte ptr ds:[rbx+rcx] at 0000000014e1e17f READ: Invalid address: 292518e5" To avoid it follow this instructions:
Put the code to turn on the elevator ¡DO NOT FOLLOW THE GHOST TO THE NEXT ROOM!
Go upstairs to the elevator and approach to it, see the short cut-scene
Now go down to fight the ghost, the game will not crash this time.

Going to try this later. I need to take a break Big Grin

the game is very smooth for me.....dn have any lag......but sometime the sound in the game will get bugged....like stuttering audio....any idea?Huh

wierd, didnt have any sounds problem at all, are you using XAudio2 or Dsound?use Xaudio2

Or try to use LLE.

LLE is much better than HLE (but needs more CPU power)
