No prob - I do the same, only with Windows computers, wondering why shortcuts for Mac thinks like Exposé don't work on the PC
As for my question, I've actually done a bit of research for myself testing various builds (I've got to have almost 20 on my HD) and found 3661 actually runs at near full speed, but it's this build that has horrible sound and crashes a lot. I'd be happy if I could trade sound for stability though 3972 seems to be the most stable, but not the fastest. Frame skipping just crashes all the versions for me, so I'm learning to become very patient with Link's gravity defying moon-running What I find funniest about this is in 6 years time, I'll be looking back on this and going "man, I can't remember what it's like to have lag" as I run Dolphin with full graphics and sound on my little Netbook from the year 2015 - that's it I'm building a time machine

4472 ran all my games at full speed such as prime 1 and 2, wind waker and twilight princess, brawl and melee, and double dash and mario kart wii i think some part of the autoframeskip or the frameskipper was fixed cause frameskipping for the first time was smooth when set from 1 to 7 for me 8 and 9 where still way to jittery and this was all on an intel chipset on a laptop with DX9 plugin

Cheers for that info Ugoo, what are your laptop stats btw? Anywhere near mine (shown in my sig)?
I haven't even bothered trying Metroid yet, because using Dolphin via Crossover on mac won't allow me to use my PS2 controller adapter with it. Does it run better than the Zeldas (Zeldae )? EDIT: Tried 4472, and frame skipping worked which is excellent! Now Windwaker is playable with a frame skip level of two, and doesn't crash! Thanks Ugoo!

your welcome you should try out 4493 cause mario kart's graphics have been fixed in the DX9 plugin and it even faster than 4472 for me and my laptop stats are
Fujitsu lifebook S series Intel mobile core 2 Duo 1.66GHZ 1GB Ram Intel i195Gm 128mb not that great but gotta wait till chrismas to get something much better the first metroid runs better than wind waker and twilight princess for me im getting a constant 35 to 40 fps in the rooms and 30 to 35 in the big open areas like tallon overworld however i have not tested twilight princess since i beat it and that was when the DX9 plugin was first fixed so it could have improved dramatically. Prime 2 echoes is still a pain sometimes im waiting for the EFB to Ram feature to be added to DX9 plugin so i can scan and move past first locked room but so far the cutscenes ran at 35 to 40 fps but for the first 10 seconds or so of samus getting out of the ship it dropped to around 12 to 16 fps but then later settled at about 28 to 34 fps. Wind waker runs smoothly for me at a stable 30 to 35 fps but i lost interest in the game after i beat twilight princess so i haven't really tried it out again

Awesome I'll try 4493 then. This is exciting
That laptop seems to be doing a good job for it's stats I'll have to give Metroid a try soon, hopefully it works well with the OpenGL plugin. Sometime I've got to get windows onto this Mac Mini so I can use that nifty Dx9 plugin

thanks my laptop works this well because i use three different programs to speed it up, Hare i use for accelaration and to keep my registry and Ram clean, Anticrash to prevent crashes and fix any system errors or bad configurations and Battery doubler to extend my battery life and to better distribute the cpu to my more demanding programs such as dolphin. However i still will probably replace it

I'll keep a note of those programs so when I get a windows computer I can use them
As for 4493, works well and still has good frame skip which is awesome. Sound is better for me, and now the focus/blur fx in the background show up on Windwaker (so long since I'd played the game I'd completely forgotten about them ). Can't remember how many times I've blown myself up with bomb plants due to frame skipping though

so does that mean that the heat haze effect in the Dragon Roost temple is fixed then cause that made the game lag so much when running through rooms with lava

Well, the heat faze still lags massively. I'm doing the dragon roost at the moment and I get about 40-30% in the lava filled rooms. Not too bad though. Not sure what you mean by fixed, it still looks a bit chunky if that's what you mean.
