Hi, I've just registered here and I need help with game on Nintendo Wii: Far Cry - Vengeance.
I don't have any problem with gameplay, graphic etc. When I start the game and reach the main menu, it looks like everything is okay, but it isn't. Some strange sign appears and says: Player using the Wii Remote number 1 is too far. "Please position yourself closer to your television and press Ok to continue."
I understand what it means, but it's nonsense, because I'm by the computer, not television and I don't even have some Wii Remote. When I try to press okay, it appears again and again and I can't even go to option let alone play the game.
I don't understand what is that supposed to mean? My other two games works fine (Dead Space - Extraction and Dead Rising - Chop Till You Drop) and there is no such sign, which is bothering me.

I have a picture of it: http://postimg.org/image/5u00fm7b1/

And there's a video, where someone is playing this game and that strange sign appears as well there, but he can close it and it won't appear anymore:

Thank you for your help.

No, I don't have a sensor bar. Is it necessary to have the sensor bar?

If you have a real wiimote probably (or you can use hybrid wiimote), if not you need to configure IR in the wiimote settings

I don't have a real controller. And I will try what you said. Thank you.

Edit: I've tried to configure IR sensivity and it's still the same. Do you have other solution?

Edit 2: I've tried all opportunities and the least IR sensivity helped me. There's no bother sign anymore. So that's it. This problem is fixed and thank you very much. Smile
Maybe it's little off-topic, but it's a shame there aren't more console exclusivities on Nintendo Wii like Saints Row 1 or Battlefield: Bad Company, but at least something like Xbox 360 exclusivity Dead Rising.
