Hey there!
I recently tried to play mario tennis (gamecube) through netplay and found out I couldn't run it on dual core. Not doing so however seems to cause some pretty heavy lag and I can't quite figure out whether I should blame the hardware or whether tinkering with settings will get me any better results.
current hardware:
Intel® Core i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60Ghz, 2.60Ghz
8GB RAM (DDR3)
Windows 10(x64)
Nvidia GTX 960M graphics card
running:
Dolphin 5.0 (most recent build)
I looked at the task manager which shows fairly heavy load on the CPU but not at all above 80% (at best a 90% peak at the start). I've tried adjusting most settings but since unselecting the dual-core setting seems to cause it I can really only assume that's the cause.
I should also mention that there's nothing significant running in the background also taking up the CPU.
