Failing to sync dolphin bookmarks

Dolphin is not syncing bookmarks in folders using connect!
I'm trying to sync my old smartphone's dolphin's bookmarks into my new smartphone's dolphin bookmarks. Both are connected with dolphin connect. When I sync, on the phone it will only create empty folders and not put any bookmarks in them.
