It puts Dolphin's configuration in a local folder called User instead of putting things in Documents.

The folder in Documents will still be there, but they won't be used. You need to copy the files from Documents into the new User folder inside of the folder where Dolphin.exe is.

Go to your dolphin directory, where the .exe is.

Create a "portable.txt" file.

Run the emulator and then close it.

You will see a "User" folder being created there when you do.

Now go to your Documents and open the "Dolphin Emulator" folder.

Inside there are a bunch of folders. Select them all and press "copy"

Go to the "user" folder that Dolphin just created. You will see that the same folders exist there too.

Paste the ones you had in your documents in the "user" folder and replace everything.

Done.

OK, I FINALLY worked it out! Turns out some of the directories got mixed up in the move and I changed them all manually. I though that all directories would be listed under paths instead of under config.

Anyway, thanks for trying to help me out anyway.

OK, so the Wii games work, but the GC games still have issues with my memory cards.

Are you using a memory card file or a folder?
