I have a system with a i5 7400, a 3GB GTX 1060, and 8GB of DDR4 RAM but every single time I try to start a game, it shows a bunch of errors that say either Failed to compile pixel shader or Failed to compile vertex shader. After doing some research on the Internet, I found out that this problem was caused because the Graphics Card was to weak but I've seen people run Wii Games on a GTX 960 at 1080p 60fps, and my 1060 is obviously more powerful than that. I'm currently using Dolphin 5.0 and the latest version of Windows 10 x64. I will really appreciate help. Thank you
Failed to compile pixel/vertex shader

What about latest dev build?

The drivers in windows update are often old and have issues, so you can't rely on that to guarantee you're up to date. Just for sanity's sake - double check your monitor is plugged into the nvidia card, not the motherboard - the intel GPU on the processor has drivers that don't like 5.0 and show up errors like this. I know it's probably a dumb suggestion, but it pays to make sure... 01-09-2018, 08:14 AM
My drivers are up to date according to the Nvidia Geforce Experience Program and I've tried the latest development build and now it's saying failed to compile ps shader.

And before the emulation starts, it shows a Warning pop-up that says "MSAA on default framebuffer isn't supported. Please avoid forcing Dolphin to use MSAA by the driver. 4 samples on default framebuffer found."

It should output a .txt file (starting with "bad_") under the "Dump" directory in wherever the per-user data is stored (possibly under your users' "Documents/Dolphin Emulator"? If you attach those it should contain both the failing shader and any info on why the driver rejected it. 01-09-2018, 08:22 AM

OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional

I've been able to launch Wind Waker and Mario Galaxy by setting the Anisotropic Filtering to x4 but now it has some major graphic glitches
