Since i updated Dolphin to 5.0.3774 i can nolonger get Fzero GX to get past the save state stage on first boot without dolphin crashing. Has anyone else had this issue? I have tried a clean install with all settings being deleted so there is no residue from any previous build as i thought this may be the problem? Any help would be appreciated, it it the same with both Vulkan and OpenGL with default settings.

Which version were you using when it worked correctly?

I'm so sorry bud i cant remember, it was somewhere in between 5.0.2200 and 5.0.2300, but that was the last i tried. I'll spend sometime tomorrow and see if i can find the last one that will work for my configuration. Great emu by the way!

Maybe I'm confused. Are you trying to play the game from a save state you created?
Windows 11 Home x64
Intel Core i7-10700
Nvidia Rtx 2060 6GB
32.0 GB DDR4 RAM

Sounds like you are using an old savestate on a newer version?

there is no savestate as its a fresh install.  I cant get past creating the savestate the game requires at first boot.

So you mean a memory card save? That has nothing to do with savestates.

Sorry, I do mean memory card save.  Also, after making a memory card save with ssx 3 I was able to create a save for F-zero.  Fixes my problem but I suppose if F-zero was the only game you had you couldn't start it?

actually lads still not working. I have done some testing and have discovered it is is when setting any anti-aliasing that the emulator crashes. Both MSAA and SSAA. Wierd? can run other games with anti-aliasing.........

Are you running the latest Nvidia Driver?
Also make sure you aren't forcing any enhancements from Nvidia control panel.
