You'd be amazed how many ignorant people there really are out there that don't know squat about Dolphin and the different kind of builds that exists (both official and unofficial builds)
Sometimes ignorant people just take the first build they can find from any site and then expecting to get support here when hell start breaking out.
So no, not everyone knows that old builds can cause problems and are unsupported and most people doesn't even know of the "Old Dolphin builds" policy in the http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Announcement-global-forum-rules-piracy-ban thread.
