I just downloaded the emulator, and everything works fine, except I have extreme frame rate problems. It's unplayable. The game glitches around a lot, and even the music morphs with the glitching. It sounds like some shitty horror movie Skrillex remix of the game's soundtrack.

I get this yellow text when I load every game up that says:

Authentic AMD
AMD FX™-4100 Quad-Core Processor...............etc.

Note: Option EFBScale is overridden by game ini.
Warning: Opening the graphics configuration will reset settings and might cause issues!

Graphics Card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770

You'll probably want to list what video card you are using. Troubleshooting is much better if you give more information.

You are saying I need a faster processor?

But my processor can run almost any game I throw at it, why would SSBM not be able to run?

There's a big difference between running games that were built for your OS and optimized specifically for your processor vs. running games that were designed for a completely different system.

Emulators need fast CPUs. And the single thread performance is almost everything you need to look at. And AMD CPUs aren't just that "great" in single thread performance, compared to intel CPUs. Even the cheap G3258 at stock speed should beat your CPU by 50% for Dolphin, even though it's just a dual core cpu. Optimal for Dolphin is 3 or 4 cores, more does not help.

You're also running very old and broken builds of Dolphin, going by what is on your profile. You should get the latest dev builds, as they're the best/fastest/most stable.
