Hey guys,
I was so happy to hear support for Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike was finally implemented to the point of playability. Of course, I have the games on disc and I don't mind playing them that way, but emulator support opens up new possibilities. One of those possibilities is extracting models from the game. There are a few models I'd like from Rebel Strike especially, such as the TIE Hunter, the APC, the missile submarine, the missile drone, etc.. Even if the game has slowdown, I have no problem getting there. The problem has turned out to be extracting them. I've tried the following methods:
1) Extract the BRRES and convert the models: The games don't use BRRES format.
2) 3DRipperDX: Great program, but unfortunately it won't launch the 64-bit versions of Dolphin. Since Rebel Strike isn't supported by any 32-bit versions and it seems support for 32-bit has been dropped, there is no way to rip using this program.
3) NinjaRipper: Another DX extractor. Unfortunately, it won't output anything when used for Dolphin. I'm not the only one who has had this issue, either.
Some more esoteric methods:
4) RenderDoc: It will launch Dolphin unlike 3DRipperDX, but it seems the Dolphin uses an older version of OpenGL, and I guess RenderDoc can't follow the emulator to its child context (Rebel Strike). Well, that's the best I understand it, at least.

5) GPA: Using a patched version of Intel's Graphic's Performance Analyzer to extract the scene as described at the following page:

While this methodology DOES seem to work, and GPA can launch Dolphin, it also seems unable to follow Dolphin to its child context of Rebel Strike, and will not capture the scene or even show its GUI.

So... what should I do? How do people extract 3D scenes from newer versions of Dolphin...?
