Your phone's drivers don't support features necessary for Dolphin to maintain good performance. Lobby to your driver manufacturer to support features like buffer storage, which would result in a substantial increase in performance.

The thing has a53 cores and a mali g71 in mp2 configuration. No drivers will save it.

My Honor 8 also shows that, but the performance of NFS Most Wanted isn't so bad with 40% overclock and audio stretching.
Some games (e.g. Madagascar) need a build between 40xx-60xx to run faster.
This is for 2016 Mali $300-$400 device users.

In addition to OpenGLES 3.2, dolphin needs the "EXT Storage Buffer" graphics extension for the fastest emulation possible.  Without it, dolphin reverts back to slower emulation techniques.  Newer Mali GPUs (G52, G57, G76, etc) should have support for it.
