hi im playing Super Mario Sunshine using the revision 7442. but im having some problems like the sofware freezing or closing itself, slowdowns n unreliable save states.

Ive reading some threads and it looks like the best i can do is to use older revisions 5xxx,4xxx or 6xxx.

but i dont want to lose my saved states or those GC memory card saved states, so is there a way of exporting any saved data to another revision?

Hey do this and backup the following:

./User/GC/MemoryCardA.USA.raw
(./User/GC/MemoryCardB.USA.raw)
./User/GC/SRAM.raw

USA could also be EUR ot JAP depending on which region you have of your games.

Well this is the proper way of doing it, and this is always how I export and import my memory card files.
I think it's strange that it asks you to format it, you're sure it isn't a blank memory card file you trying to import/copy over and the one with the saves have been accidentally removed?

i always copy the files from

\Dolphin-r7442\User\GC\
MemoryCardA.USA.raw
SRAM.raw

to

\Dolphin-r6499\User\GC\
MemoryCardA.USA.raw
SRAM.raw

if i play SM Sunshine in the revision Dolphin-r7442 the saved data works ok, but in the Dolphin-r6499 (or another revision) it doesnt work
it works now!, i did exactly as before several times n now it works! thnx Gabriel Belmont Big Grin
