Using "Zelda: Twilight Princess"

I hit "Export Wii save (Experimental)" and got the "\private\wii\title\RZDE\data.bin" file. Put that on a clean SD card. Deleted the one on the Wii, and tried to replace it with this one, and it would not take it. I did it all right. I then had to put the original save file back, when the one from Dolphin wouldn't work.

The file from the Wii is 77.2 KB (79,104 bytes). That's just starting, using one save slot, or after some progress through the game, using all the save slots. So, I assume that file size never changes.

And here are some saves online:
http://www.wiisave.com/?cid=30

A save file from a 100% complete game is still exactly 79,104 bytes.

But, the one Dolphin produces is 77.3 KB (79,232 bytes). That's 128 bytes too big. How can anyone expect this to work?

Anyway, thanks. Good luck to you all.
AMD Phenom II X4 970 3.5GHz: $180
MSI GeForce GTX 460 1GB: $150
ASUS M4A89GTD Motherboard: $125
4 x 2GB CORSAIR XMS3 DDR3: $110
2x (raid0) A-DATA S599 64GB SSD: $240
ABS Majesty 900W Power: $115

Playing Dolphin at 100% speed: Priceless.

Well it's still experimental, have you tried import the save back again to see if it's working in Dolphin at least?

I tried importing a save from the console, and it didn't work. It made some files, but it didn't load that save. Instead, it loaded the save I had from Dolphin. This was with "Metroid: Other M".

I haven't tried importing back the same save that I exported. I'd have to get time to do that.

do the following

1) get a save of zelda that work on both dolphin as the wii. install the save on both
2) export the save from the wii to the SD and save it on the computer
3) export the save from dolphin and save it somewhere
4) compare the 2 files or upload them so somebody else can compare them
5) ????
6) POSSIBLE PROFIT!
