Slightly more complex question that normal. I know it's possible to transfer dolphin saves to Wii, but I was wondering if anyone knows a way to transfer an EU dolphin save to a US wii?

Problem is, I have a euro copy of Xenoblade Chronicles, but not a euro Wii. So now that I have a US copy of XC, I was hoping to move my saves over.

Is there a simple hack or a renaming thing I can do? Or did Nintendo change the save format enough that it's not really possible?

This is very simple to do. Just move or copy the saves from "title/00010000/53583450/data" to "53583445/data". You may need the title.tmd (in "53583445/content") file from the US version in order for your wii to recognize the save as a US save. Just boot the game from Dolphin to automatically create the correct folder and title.tmd file. Then you can just move your saves into the 53583445/data/ folder and follow standard procedure to export the save. Note that this works in this particular case, but may require more complicated techniques for other games.

Quick follow up, I don't have an image made of my US XC disc, is there a way to export the save files from Dolphin without having the title loaded up?

If you were to install the save into the Wii's internal memory, I would think that the title.tmd would be necessary to identify the game. However, you might be able to get away with having the save on the SD card without a correct title.tmd. Regardless, I have attached the file to make it easier.

I was already able to pull the title.tmd from a Wii save from the US version -- but now I need to get Dolphin to export for the US title, and I can't seem to find a way to do that without an iso loaded up.

You shouldn't need to export to a .bin filetype. Just placing the files in the correct folder structure on the SD card should do the job. "SD:\title\00010000\..."

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work. My Wii isn't modded, if that was necessary.

Modding it would definitely help. However, the Wii should be able to read save files from an SD card. Did you check to see if the save was recognized in the Data menu (or whatever it is called)? You might just need to copy it over.

The only other thing to try would be to create a save on the wii, move it to the SD card, then replace the Monado0x files with the files from Dolphin.

Edit: If for whatever reason you want to try using a .bin file, there is a tool created specifically for Xenoblade to pack a .bin. Just follow the readme and change SX4P01 to SX4E01.

But they are compatible for Xenoblade for some reason, once they have been renamed or something basic.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X

GPU: Radeon Vega 56
