Question
Hi!

Does anyone know what the situation is with Eternal Darkness? Is it technical? Lack of interest in the game?

I vaguely remember seeing a title screen a *long* while back. With the latest build I'm not even getting that. Sad

It won a bunch of awards back in the day and almost all reviews were in the 90-95% range. I think IGN even listed it as one of the top 5 games made for the system - and today we still can't get in-game.

I'm really happy with the focus on Wii support but it would be an absolute crime to let this game fall through the cracks.

Silicon Knights games are all broken on Dolphin : P Let's wait for some hacks, I doubt they are hard to emulate, it has probably something to do with memory and fmv's.

Yeah... I've wondered about this myself. I know the game used to actually load around R700? I've been curious myself with regard to what killed the game. Alas, I don't know jack about emulation theory, I'm sure it's much more complicated than anything I could imagine, heh. Blush

The game used to boot and hang just as the first story was told, so it didn't get very far even when it was working. Too bad, it's a great game and I would enjoy playing it on the PC.
