Since I setup Win10 fresh alongside Win7 on a separate disk, I kinda moved over to Win10 and just installed VS2017 Community with the latest Win10 SDK.

Unfortunatley can't build Dolphin since it uses just one release below 10.0.15063.0

If this upgrade is just around the corner I would rather wait instead of reinstalling that SDK or bloating another 2.3 GB ontop.

Thanks

There is no ETA for this.

That was true back then but not now. The text about the Windows 10 SDK being required was re-added to the readme later.

Actually nevermind, these things keep going on like hot cakes, today was a new SDK release with 15.7, it auto-installed the new one 15.0.17134.0 alongside the previous one, so I had 2 of them anyway, I put the 16229 down and 15063 up, I was already trying to test the new one how it would work with dolphin but didn't finish.

But actually it's kinda good dolphin settles on something that works for most - the new SDK is AFAIK a new default for UWP apps or something, that's where the cycles go fast and most probably where most of the changes in the SDK are, I'm fine with dolphin not jumping on the UWP bandwagon so quick ... or never :p

The newer SDK apps might be buggy on earlier versions of Win10 or not even work anymore, this is some agressive updating policy, windows will never be the same.
