Error Opening Adapter: Access denied (insufficient permissions)

I'm running Dolphin's latest version (5.0-11384 at this time) on Mac (macOS Catalina Version 10.15-2). Everything works except for the adapter and controllers. Yes, I did the steps on this wiki, and the installation did work because dolphin detects the adaptor, but whenever I click on "configure" I get the error: "Error Opening Adapter: Access denied (insufficient permissions)"
Any help ?

Hi, I'm running dolphin 5.0-12051 on Windows 10 Pro. I, too, followed the steps in the Dolphin gamecube adapter guide, and am experiencing the same error regarding insufficient permissions.

Regarding the issue with the macOS, an older forum post, mentions the .kext installation. However, that is in the mentioned guide. I am assuming, that you've installed the .kext file, since you followed the guide. That's pretty much all I can think of there, for you. For me, on PC? I have no clue.

If you've made any progress, or anyone else has suggestions toward a solution, please do respond.
