i tried that and got the same result. am i supposed to put the file in the plugins folder? also, do you know what could be causing the "couldn't init the core" problem?

well the plugin SHOULD go in the plugins folder Tongue, but you could try putting sdl.dll in the dolphin folder (or in the plugins folder Undecided)

maybe you could show pics of your whole settings Smile

i tried to attach a pic, but it's not letting me -_-, so i'll just type my configurations (general):

[ ] Enable Dual Core | [X] HLE the BIOS all the time
[X] LLE DSP on thread | [X] Enable the JIT dynarec
[X] Enable Idle Skiping | [ ] Lock threads to cores
[ ] Enable Cheats | [X] Optimize Quantizers

ok, it seems that because i took out the "Plugin_nJoy_SDL" file(s) from the 2195 build and put them with the plugins for the 2962 build that i didn't have the error messages. however, not only does it tell me that it failed to grab 1gb of continuous memory (might be because i have firefox running lol), but the emulator immediately crashes -_- i'm not sure what the problem is. (i tried playing ssbm and sa2b)
