Question
I get the following message when trying to launch Dolphin 4.0 64-bit version:
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Visual C++ 2010, Direct X and NET Framework 4, but still unable to get this to launch, in any kind of compatibility mode.
The 32-bit version works just fine.
Any yes, I have a 64-bit machine. Tongue

Specs:
Operating System: Windows 8
Processor/CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K, 3.5 GHz
Video Card/GPU: Nvidia GTX 680
Memory/RAM: 16 GB
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 4.0

Any help appreciated!

This error is always due to users installing the wrong version of DLLs, in your case 32-bit DLLs when you need the 64-bit versions. The FAQ explains this thoroughly enough and provides a solution. This question has been asked numerous times before, so please use our forum's search feature or Google if you require further information about this problem.
