Yeah stating your specifications and reviewing the minimum requirements always help, your hardware is likely not up to par to run the emulator.

Can you play any recent PC releases or releases that have been released within in the past 2 - 3 years? If not, you likely won't be able to run Dolphin.

Quote:* Operating System: Microsoft Windows (2000/XP/Vista or higher) / Linux / Apple Mac OS X (Intel version).
* Processor: Any Fast CPU with SSE2 supported (recommended at least 2Ghz). Dual Core Recommended for a speed boost. Use Cpu-Z to see if your Cpu supports SSE2.

Quote:[Models that Dolphin likes]
- NVIDIA GeForce 6 to 9 Series and GeForce 200 Series

- ATI Radeon R200 to R700 Series
--* ATI Radeon Processor Generations
--* Radeon 300
--* Radeon 420
--* Radeon 520
--* Radeon 600
--* Radeon 700

[Model thats Dolphin doesn't like]
- Any Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) Chipset (These cards do not support OpenGL 2.x fully)
--* Intel Graphics Media Accelerator
- Older NVIDIA Chipsets
--* GeForce 256
--* GeForce 2
--* GeForce 3

--* GeForce FX Series
- ATI Radeon R200 and Older

--* Radeon 100

If your PC doesn't meet the minimum specifications just to run the emulator, run doesn't necessarily mean with good speed then you might as well forget Dolphin as purchase a Wii/Gamecube if you don't already have one. The hardware that would be needed to run Dolphin adequately and at acceptable speeds would be for more expensive than just shelling out for the actual system and games.

Use the DirectX 9 plugin, your graphics card lacks the required OpenGL 2.1 extensions that is needed to use the OpenGL plugin. For that system the DirectX 9 plugin would be faster anyway, just don't expect full speed with most games. For your specifications half speed is more realistic for the majority of games if you are lucky to even achieve that..
