It's because my parents are now worried that I don't know what I'm doing and with two little siblings running amok in the house, it's a recipe for disaster. For those of you who are looking at this thread for reference, thanks... I don't want to pay $1000 for a pre-built gaming desktop... Now it seems that it is LAPTOP OR BUST. D:
Parents, ha ha what do they know about technology and building computers anyway?
If you're confident then you shouldn't let them stop you from building.
The opposite in fact, they should be proud of your skills and hobby and embrace you, encourage you.
Building is quite an easy task but with two small siblings running around it is a little bit trickier (luckily, I was the youngest and started to build when I was 23) so I have never experienced this.
Building also requires concentration, patience and silence and some meditation.
What can be done is that you give some money to mom and dad, ask them to take the two rug rats out for McDonald's and happy meals while you assemble the computer safely at home.
