Hi,

I'm having trouble getting the remote to work and from searching Google it doesn't appear that anyone else is having this issue, so it must be a simple fix. When the game loads, at the screen where it says to "put on and tighten the wrist strap" (seen before the start of every game), I can press A to shorten its display time and it will make a sound and start loading the actual game. (Dolphin acknowledges the remote at this point) Then the developer\publisher information displays and when it gets to the title screen that says to Press A to start the game - nothing happens (no pointer either). The remote becomes unresponsive, even though it worked just a few seconds ago.

Not sure if this matters, initially, I needed to check Progressive Scan and set Texture Cache Accuracy to the middle as suggested on the site and that took care of the black screen and blocky text errors. I'm using a real wii remote and it works fine in Skyward Sword (although the color is a little faded). What could I be missing? (Dolphin v3.0-845-dirty on win7 64bit. Speed is 100%) Thanks.

Try pressing Alt+F5 when the wiimote becomes unresponsible (sometimes you need to press more than one time)

Thanks to whoever moved my post to the correct board.

I did the ALT+F5 you suggested and it partially connected the remote. Meaning the buttons and D-pad worked for a little bit. The pointer was hit-n-miss (mostly missed) and I always got "Communications with the Wii Remote have been interrupted." at the "Start New Game" screen. Hitting the ALT+F5, Dolphin said the remote was connected in the upper left corner but the communication message would not go away no matter how many times I did it. When the pointer did work, it felt the same way it does when you have a character moving in an ice world. Sloppy and sluggish - lagging.

Thanks for the ALT+F5 information; do you have any other ideas?

Try setting "alternate wiimote timing" under the game properties.
