Is there a way to manually disable and reenable DSP? Im wondring how big of a performance increase we might get by playing the game silently

...also, DSP isn't used only to process audio

You can enable no sound backend I think tho

But DSP will be emulated even with no sound backend, so, no speed gain (like OP wondered)
