Emulator won't detect saves

I have lost count of how many tutorials I looked up for making virtual SD cards, how to use GCMM, and importing GCI saves. I was able to create a working memory card, but now the thing doesn't detect any GCI saves when I select the Import action


Just when I think I figured this out; a roadblock happens. I must have spent atleast 3 days trying to get this shit to work.


Eventually my patience wore thin so I had to make this thread so I can try to figure out a way to make sure the GCI save works correctly. It wouldn't even detect the Smash Melee gci save

Help would be much appreciated. I even had to think that I had to convert GCI files to raw...so what do I do here?

for the record I use Dolphin 5.0-8309.

Since I was getting no replies, I had to bump this thread for the lack of info.

If there is no workaround to this, then I may have to try converting GCI to RAW save files though GCMM has consistently worked like dog shit on my PC so far

You could also try using the GCI folder option and put the save files directly into the save folder. Depending on your user folder (default: My Documents/Dolphin Emulator/GC/USA/Card A) iirc.
