Emulation to real hardware, possibilities?

I've been digging on these forums for a while now because I love using dolphin, but something raised my eyebrow and after searching a lot I couldn't find any information on it, or I'm blind, whichever.

Basically, the idea is: Can you say, trade Pokemon from an emulated Colosseum or XD game to a real GBA game cart via the USB controller adapters and the Gamecube to GBA link cable + a real GBA?

Now granted, I have genuine copys of pretty much all of these games, but it intrigued me enough to dig for information that I couldn't find on the topic, I would enjoy making files for Colosseum and XD on my PC if I could trade to my real GBA games (And maybe back to my real XD save on the gamecube) if it worked.

I was interested in buying the USB adapter for Gamecube controllers but I was (And still am) on the fence about it, this would cinch it for me if it actually worked, or if nobody knows, I would consider getting it to try it out.

Unfortunately, no. All of the GameCube controller adapters on the market (even the official wii u adapter!) convert controller inputs to HID before Dolphin can access it. For options like the GBA to work, Dolphin would need access to the pure Serial Input, but nothing available lets it do that. Sorry. There has been some discussion of a possible custom firmware for a GameCube adapter, but no one has bothered.
