Emulating pointer distance possible anymore?

So, a few of the games I've been trying to play recently, like Trauma Center, requires me to be able to move the wiimote towards or away from the screen, but as far as I can tell, That isn't possible with an emulated remote. I remember this being an option in the past, so I was wondering if there was still anyway to configure this, or was it completely removed?

I believe it's still accessible as Swing Forward and Swing Backward.
