Hey all,

My DolphinBar went out just recently and I'm too lazy to replace it, so I've been experimenting with using my mouse+keyboard to emulate the wiimote. This works fairly well for Metroid Prime Trilogy, just sort of like any other PC FPS if I get my settings right.

However I have 4 monitors. I have my main monitor in the center, another on each side, and a TV above my main. I mostly play on the center one, sometimes the TV if I want to hurt my neck (didn't really think the placement through very well but oh well).

The emulated wiimote's pointer is based on cursor position, which is fine and dandy, but my cursor is free to move to any other monitor while I'm playing the game, and really does this a LOT while looking around/aiming quickly all the time. When the cursor moves to another monitor, it thinks the wiimote is pointed realllllly far to that side or to the corner or something, and in this case, Samus just constantly spins around.

Long story long, is there any way to sort of "lock" the cursor to one monitor while I'm playing a game? Or any other setting I can tweak that will workaround this problem or anything like that? Any help is useful! Thanks!

EDIT: So I just downloaded some software called Dual Monitor Tools, and it allows me to set hotkeys to "lock" the cursor to one monitor, or "unlock" again if I need. It's really simple and elegant, and actually is useful for things outside of gaming I realize. DMT seems to be updated more recently, as opposed to other software called Cursor Lock, so that's why I went with it, but you can see what works for you. Hope this solutions helps people if they stumble on this thread!
